Oliver Goldsmith Literary Festival

The Oliver Goldsmith Literary Festival 2025 takes place over the June Bank Holiday in Ballymahon, County Longford. It all kicks off on Friday, 30 May and runs until Sunday, 1 June. 

The festival celebrates the literary genius of Oliver Goldsmith, exploring many aspects of Goldsmith’s life, society, and writings. Audiences can enjoy takes and discussions from a variety of renowned critics, politicians, poets, commentators and academics.
