Visit Bog Oak Sculptures

You can visit them at their workshop and studio beside Lough Ree at Barley Harbour, Newtowncashel, County Longford. Here, you will see their many beautiful works created out of Irish bog oak. This material has been preserved for 5,000 years. This wood once formed part of the great forest that covered the central plains of Ireland in ancient times.

At the studio, there are several small sculptures for sale. The team can also take on one-off bespoke projects for commissions if you are looking for something truly unique.

Opening hours vary. It is advised to call ahead before travelling. Call the team on 043 332 52 97. You can also email them at bogoak.ie@gmail.com
