Miscellaneous Events:

• Mastering the Art of Commitment for Success By Michael Hegarty Coaching.  Venue - co:worx 5 Main Street, Edgeworthstown.   Wednesday 22nd March 9:45am – 12pm. The focus of the day will be one of exploration through powerful questions, stories and metaphors, supported by group discussion.  To register go to www.eventbrite.ie/mastering-the-art-of-commitment.

• The 87th County Longford Ploughing Championships takes place on Sunday 26th March from 12pm in Granard. A wonderful line up on the day with music, dancing, ploughing, dog show & more! Follow their Facebook page for updates Longford Ploughing Association.

• Pig Market Lane is open every Saturday from 10am to 4pm.  Located right beside Herterich Butchers on Ballymahon Street featuring a wide array of artisan food & craft stalls.  

• Ardagh Parent & Toddler group, every Tuesday morning 9:45am-12pm. Keenan park GAA grounds, Ardagh, N39 FW52. Find us on Facebook.

• Longford Parkrun - Free weekly timed 5K runs held every Saturday at 9:30am at The Mall, Longford. You can run, walk or jog as you please.

• Live music at the 98 Bar, Ballinamuck every Thursday from 10pm - folk, country and some ballads, come along for an evening of music & craic!

• Clarkes Bar, Lanesborough has music every Monday night in the front bar with Joe Duffy. Great sing song and craic on the night with the locals and everyone welcome to join in. Every Wednesday night is Traditional Irish Music with Noel Carberry, Jimmy Flanagan and friends.

• Farmers Market - every Friday, Market Square, Longford from 9am- 2pm. Delicious, local fresh produce for all to enjoy.

• Music every weekend in Adies Bar, Lanesborough.  Come in and enjoy some live music and sample their new cocktail menu!

• Kettlebell classes at Colmcille Community Centre, Aughnacliffe.  Monday & Thursday nights, 8pm-9pm, €6 pay as you go, all welcome.

• Live music every Saturday evening in the front lounge bar, Longford Arms Hotel with Pascal & Davy.  Social Dancing Sundays with live music and dancing, doors open from 8.30pm.

• DJ every Friday & Saturday night at PV's Longford, come along and enjoy great tunes & dance the night away!
