Longford Country House, in North County Longford, offers award winning B&B and self catering accommodation. This rural peaceful setting is only one kilometre from Ennybegs village shop and pub. Longford Town is only 10 minutes by car or taxi, and Dublin airport is a 1 hour and 45 minutes drive away.


The first cottage consists of a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom downstairs and one single bedroom and one twin bedroom upstairs with a shared bathroom. The second cottage features four bedrooms, one double room, two twin rooms and a single room. Both properties have fully fitted kitchens with microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and laundry dryer and breakfast rooms with stone floors and open turf fires. Sheets and towels are provided free of charge, WiFi is available in the B&B nearby and local information is provided on request.

This is an ideal touring base within easy reach of sites such as Corlea Trackway Visitors Centre, Strokestown House and Famine Museum, Knights & Conquest Heritage Centre in Granard, King House, Abbey in Boyle County Roscommon and Clonmacnoise. There is fishing on the rivers Shannon, Inny, Camlin and numerous lakes, golfing on nearby courses, pitch and putt and the driving range. There are also opportunities for walking, horse riding, swimming, go carting and bowling. There are some great restaurants and live entertainment nearby.
