Turners Printing was established in 1836 by James Turner and his son Robert when they acquired a Rise & Fall toggle press. Since then Turners have updated their printing machines and equipment on a regular basis to remain one of the most advanced print companies in Ireland.
Turners initially published a number of regular news sheets including the Longford Independent. However, difficult trading conditions after the WW I forced the closure of the publishing aspect of their business. Their core business is now the printing of other publishers materials including Books, Journals and Magazines. Business Stationery, Annual Reports, Brochures, Leaflets and Point of Sale Promotional Materials are also produced for the commercial world.
Through Azure Communications, a subsidiary company, Turners are ensuring they retain a link with the ever more rapidly changing world of high tech communications.
Turners have been printing materials and supplies for companies and organisations across a diverse range of sectors including Financial Services, Publishing, Retail, Pharmaceutical, Telecommunications, Charities and the Public Sector for many years.
The experience inherent in Turners means they are able to provide an efficient service delivering high quality, competitively priced, confidential and timely solutions for their clients.
Turners constant attention to their clients needs and their determination to meet those needs and exceed expectations has earned them a well deserved reputation as one of Irelands leading companies. They have won numerous awards for their services and are registered as an active supplier on the Government Tenders Procurement website, providing quotes to every Local and National Government Department as and when required. They are the proud holders of ISO9001:2008, ISO14001:2004, ISO12647-2 and FSC and PEFC certifications.
